Curious--Any TL-S Female Owners Out There?
Just curious, as my title mentions, about women who drive TL-S models. Just ordered mine and my hubby noticed there were several women in the dealership who were looking at TLs, but not sure any of them ordered TL-S.
Not that gender matters at all, but somehow I get the sense that the gender on this board if more male.
If you are female and watching this board, did you buy TL or TL-S? (The weaker sex is welcome to weigh in on the wife's choice.)

I have seen quite a few women (usually the older generation) driving regular 04-06 TL's around my area. Although, I did see one female in her late 20's early 30's test driving a white TL-S when I brought my car to the dealership for service the other day.

I stopped by the Acura dealership last weekend on an errand and as I was leaving, I saw a woman in her 40s test driving the TL-S. I haven't seen many women driving TL-S around my area, mostly base model TL's.

Just kidding! Congrats and welcome to the board!Actually, I WANTED MT, but the dealership didn't have one to test (only one AT TL and one AT TL-S). MT is all I've ever owned. I actually felt the AT on the TLS is more fun than older-style ATs, and hubby actually preferred AT due to traffic (not that I'll ever let him drive it, ha). MT in traffic has never bothered me, but I thought what the heck, I love it anyway.
Another consideration was resale...you wouldn't believe how many out there don't know how to drive MT, or maybe you would.
Anyway, I made my decision, so that's what I'm getting. They called me today to tell me they found one at a NW dealership, so won't be long!

I see quite a few women driving TL's here in MN. And almost every time it's either a WDP or a NBP one. I've never seen a woman driving an AM one though I'm sure they exist. I like my ASM because it's so much easier to keep clean.

Will let ya know about the paddle shifting, not so sure about that, but hear others like it. What do you mean about the 'blipping' during down shift? Probably posted elsewhere in this huge board...man, I could spend 8 hours/day trying to catch up on all this!
