Crack in pipe just before primary cat
I have a crack in the pipe leading from the engine to the 2nd rear primary cat. Does anyone know what this part is called?
Currently sound like a bad catless set up lol

That one?
It's one unit, not a pipe. Unless you mean the secondary cat under the car

Yeah I believe that's the one. Mine looks a little different, the person I bought it from installed cheap generic cats so it could pass smog. I think that is why it broke so easily

This is the one I am referring too. I stand corrected it’s called J-pipe I also read somewhere online referred as flex pipe. But the question is if it’s leaking I shouldn’t have impact on engine performance as it’s technically an exhaust leak.

The inconvenient truth
The whole assembly in that picture is called a j pipe and the flexible area that the arrow is pointing to is called the flex pipe. Treat it like an exhaust leak.
