$20 is not expensive. but it depends on what kind of material? is it just a piece of reflective card board or will it actually reflect the sun and keep the heat out of the car?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I figured It was worth mentioning.

I got in my car today and literally had to start it, roll down the windows, and jump out. It was hot as a MOFO in there after being parked all morning/afternoon in 100 degree temps. Even after I waited outside the car for a few minutes, I could barely touch the steering wheel. Very uncomfortable.

I decided to ahead and purchase the covercraft sunsahde and went to autoanything.com. I got it for 47.99 with free ground shipping but decided to see if I could get a better deal. Started up the live chat and they offered me 5% off. $2.50 doesn't really help me so I asked if they could upgrade me to faster shipping since these are made to order and won't ship until about 10 days after my order is processed (kinda lame)

The rep on the live chat offered to split the cost of UPS 2-3 day shipping. came out to $52.00 total. I'm happy.

Don't know if anybody has found any Covercrafts for a good deal lately, but I ordered one last night from AJUSA.com and used the code "TOY10" to get mine for $43.29 total.

Is there anybody who's gotten it for cheaper? Hope this helps some AZ members!

That is a good price, I think I paid like $52 for mine... Its a great sun shade BTW, dont worry about the damn gap its not bad at all. This thing does wonders for the temp inside your car, it works best if you park your car facing the sun too

check acura dealerships. I got a a custom fit covercraft for $20. Only difference is it was the roll type. Not as easy as the folding ones pictured here but well worth the price difference imo.

Acura carries two roll up brands and none of them are Covercraft!

The covers at Acura nook better than most but the Covercraft hands down looks much nicer

Before summers over is long time, I was worried it was going to be a couple of weeks or something. I'll probably order at the end of the month when I get paid.

more faces

my bad, you're right. I think it was Heatshield. Either way it fits and works. I once say a covercraft one that had the Acura logo on the front center. No idea where to get it but it was nice.

Damn! Wish I had seen that before I ordered mine a couple weeks ago. I paid something like 52$ shipped.

I just got it in the mail today; Here's a pic in action:

That promo code didn't work. If I can buy this for around 40 shipped, I'll sell mine to my buddy for $20. It's the rollaway type but it annoys me to have to roll it up every day. This looks a lot easier.

Dude, were you standing on a tree?! LOL...great picture, I think I'm going with the blue metallic to match my theme...I dig the gold but it won't math at all.

EDIT: Standby, the chat guy is telling me the rebate was only for orders over $199. He's giving me 10% off.
$43.19 shipped, bitches.

Tyler, my main and bottom bitch, a big thank you for making look up this thread. That rollup shade has been annoying me a lot but with the heat and already cracked dash AND metal shift knob...no shade isn't an option for me. Ordered the blue one, no bag. If I had the bag it would annoy me just as much to feel inclined to use it.

HAHA I actually was standing in the bed of my Dad's 07 Tacoma

43$ shipped is AWESOME. They had told me mine would ship around the 23rd or so (two weeks production time and they're made to order) so I opted for quicker shipping and paid 52 bucks; the chat guy split the cost of quicker shipping with me...Love live chats

It was well worth it since I had been shade-less for the last year and a half in the car. Stupid of me to risk my dash

I think blue will go very well with your car. I got the silver because nothing else would have matched very well

been using this shade for 2 weeks now, such a great purchase and really good quality. i agree no bag on this one, i might install some stretch material and velcro to keep it tight when folded, but we will see. recommend this buy to anyone!

Tyler, thank you again.
quan...lol...gotcha, that's a high ass truck! Yeah, I figured if I could grab it for $40 and sell my other for $20, I'd be happy with having paid about 20 to upgrade. It being easier to pop up/down will be a huge bonus for me and LOVE the idea of the friggin blue.

I regret not getting the bag because that would help protect it some more in my trunk. So, I'm re-using the box it was shipped in. I had gotten the silver one and it gets pretty damn hot when you try to put it away.

Do they charge extra for the bag? The only use I could see for it would be in the winter when you're not using the shade.

Yeah, it's $5. In hindsight I might have ordered it too, but I forgot.
Anyway, I know myself...if i have the bag, I'll feel inclined to use it. And if I have to put that condom on my sunshade every day, I'll be more annoyed than just rolling up the other one.

Does anyone know why these are made to order? Find it kind of inconvenient that i have to wait at least 10 days before it even ships... It's not like they're custom made.

Funny how both AJUSA and autoanything.com's codes both went kaput after we posted them up for you guys... Seems like they caught on and developed loopholes to cut their losses.

As far as the long wait, mine came in sooner than I expected... Ordered mine on 07/10, and they made and shipped it to my door by 07/17! Exactly a week, and that's with regular shipping too.

And con5tant, they actually are custom-made, since they have to send the order to Covercraft, who then makes and ships it out to us.

I would have ordered the bag from AJUSA when I got mine, but for some reason adding the bag to the shopping cart would have made them charge me for shipping, instead of receiving the free shipping I got with the shade.

They're not custom-fitted for my car. They're all going to be the same for all 3G TLs. My BMW OEM sunshade looks exactly like the Covercraft and they're mass produced.

Hey Ken, you have any new coupon codes that would corral people you rather than scouring the internet for a better price?

Champ, after asking for it, I had to give you at least 1!!!
