I have been waiting for two weeks for my on order AM/Quartz//5AT/Navi to show up. Stopped by the dealer today to find out if it had been built yet, scheduled for this week. They had no news yet but suspected everything was on schedule and it was to ship next Monday. Transit time approximately 10 days.

On the lot they had one new 05 for sale, ABP/Quartz/5AT/Navi with the protection package. My new car is beautiful. I just hope I can keep it clean.

Thanks to all on the forum for sharing great tips and pricing info. I took a test drive to insure rattle and squeak freedom as suggested. So far, all I've done is paired my phone and made a few calls then setup homelink and played with the audio and nav a bit. I couldn't be happier.

Congrats on your new car! AM is a great color and very easy to care for. I use Zaino, and people always comment on how awesome it looks. I've tried almost every wax product on the market, and nothing compares to a properly applied Zaino finish. So far, I've got 6 coats of Zaino and the depth of shine and lack of swirl marks is incredible. Zaino really does layer, and the more coats you put on the car, the better it looks. You will definately see the difference after the 3rd coat.

Thanks JetJock (Are you the same guy from the Legend Forum?). AM is a great color but I chose ABP/Quartz because I like it to and didn't want to wait any longer. When it warms up a bit I might try Zaino. Read nothing but good things about it.

jazzpicker - I have been lurking on the site for a few months, absorbing lots of great info. I really try to do my homework.

rets - Thanks, the wait was distracting. I've been driving around in my 93 delsol which I love, but it's not an everyday type ride for me anymore. Now the TL is distracting, it's great playing with all of the features and driving around for it's own sake. What a really nice package.
