Clutch master cylinder UPGRADE

Looking to upgrade the master cylinder on my 06 TL. Was wondering if anyone has tried other brands? Tilton, Wilwood, Omni Power??? I know the oem bore is 5/8. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm sorry I can't provide a helpful response but I'm very curious. I'm wondering why you want to upgrade the MC. And what characteristics of the MC are you looking to improve by changing it to an aftermarket one?

I think the internals on the stock oem one are plastic. Most aftermarket ms are all metal providing a smoother feel with less slop and room for failure. Also some ms like the omni power are 25% shorter. I think just about any ms would work. Also will be putting in a stainless line and a remote reservoir.

Interesting. Wonder if anyone has tried an aftermarket Master Cylinder that improved the feel of the clutch.

If you're looking for better shifting, you might seriously consider this:

That, and deleting the delay orifice mechanism in the Slave Cylinder will give you an awesome shift feel, even with the OEM Master Cylinder.
