Clean title, reconstructed history.
Howdy,
I don't usually do this but I know many people were intrigued by a recent particular silver Type S posted for sale here in the Black Market and the history surrounding it.
Many of us were quick to point out that the rebuilt title cannot simply be from a simple bumper change and indeed the owner partially admitted to it being more than just the bumper (fender, headlight etc... enough to be deemed a total loss) although he was less than forthright about it.
I happened to look earlier for the listing since no more news had come forth and to my surprise it had been reported sold.
For shits and giggles I decided to check the seller's listed area for "Acura TL's" on LetGo. Maybe by chance he had listed it and I was curious to see what the listing said. Here's what I found:
"Clean title with reconstructed history"?
Normally I wouldn't give a hoot but I think people should be aware before it gets reposted for sale in a new, clean post. Mods, please take note of this user.
Also, I hate liars.

Sorry OP but this thread is not really gonna go anywhere. For what it's worth the seller was questioned in the For Sale thread. My honest opinion is if he was selling the car for $9500 someone would overlook the background, get it checked out by a mechanic and offer him $9k and he'd sell it for $9250 because the accident history would support that price with the low miles. People are all over him because of the premium price. People buy previously damaged vehicles all the time and have no clue becuase it was independently repaired and did a decent enough job that when looking at it with excitement things are often over-looked. It's not until the buzz goes away that people notice the little things, then do research and find out they bought a death trap lol.
