Changing 3/4 pressure switch, where to buy from and one other quick question

Hey,

I read the DIY post but I'm a little confused.

What is the current part# for the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switch that I need for an 04. Also, what is the part numbers for the washers. And where is the best place to order from?

Last time I changed the tranny fluid I used Amsoil synthetic. This would have been the second change in the last year or so. I want to do it one more time.

Amsoil synthetic tranny fluid is ok to use correct? Pretty sure several people on here said they recommended it last time and currently it seems to be working fine.

Thanks for the help as usual.

I bought my switches at www.acurapartsnow.com and the PN's are 3rd gear 28610-RAY-003 4th gear 28600-RAY-003 and the washers 90471-PW7-A00 and you need 2 of these. As for fluid I suggest searching for the posts on Redline, I have an 06 TL and use 60-40 Redline racing (type F) and D6 with excellent results, I also use Redline hi temp ATF in my power steering with 0 problems

Thanks for the part#s. I know redline is good stuff but so is Amsoil and that is what I used last time so I think I'll stay with that.

You can use either Redline D4/D6 with all the friction modifiers which would be very similar to Amsoil, I don't know much about Amsoil but I do know a bit about Redline products and they are some of the best lubricants you can buy

So I changed my tranny fluid with Amsoil this weekend and replaced the 3/4 gear pressure switches. It was pretty simply and anyone who can handle a wrench should be able to do it. It was probably a good thing I changed fluid as it was starting to get dark.

The car shifts very nicely now. Thanks everyone for the part#s and advice.
