Carbon Fiber Interior

I want to carbon Fiber all of the wood interior pieces in my '07 TL. Where can I get a kit with all the pieces ? I looked on the Acura website and they only had the rear console and front lower console.

Try eBay and Craigslist and the Black Market sections in this forum.

A cursory eBay glance yields:

$40 for cupholder surround CF:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-08...Q5fAccessories

$71 for rear air vent CF:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-08...Q5fAccessories

Average is $370 for CF steering wheel.

Still looking on the other stuff.

the problem is that the pieces you are looking for are not sold as aftermarket parts, they come from the factory like that. but, the pieces you found are. they are sold from dealers as a dealer installed aftermarket part and are much easier to find. what you need is a site like this where you can buy every piece of the car...i couldnt find exactly what you are looking for but if i do i will post an exact location.

There is a member here that wrapped their whole interior with 3m di noc carbon fiber vinyl. It turned out pretty nice, might want to give that a try.

I have a carbon fiber kit thinking of selling it. Its brand new I had the dealer replace my carbon fibre for woodgrain parts. all 4 doorpanel trims and 2 capartments upper and lower and around shifter plate and also a stock leather shiter knob.

I didn't even know about this part 08Z03-SEP-200B....

Shows it came on TLs from 06-08, have to add this to the list.

I don't know how well that Carbon Fiber tape would blend with the existing oem parts unless you did everything in it.

For the front doors, you'll need #33 and #41 from here:

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Rear door #16 and 21 from here:

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Center console #10 and 11 from here:

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

The steering wheel, shifter trim, etc was all an OEM option, the parts listed above are what you need to get rid of all the wood and replace it with CF.

That'll set you back $355.22 plus shipping.

Have you checked the carbon fiber dash kits from carid.com? They look really good even though they're just stickers that go over your trim. One of the options is supposedly real CF though.

does anyone know how to take off the silver trim that goes on the inside of front doors above the handle? I was thinking about plastidipping mine.

Take out the screws on the side pocket and door release. Should be some screws on the bottom if I recall. Pop out the door panel and tilt it upward to release it. DON'T COMPLETELY take out the interior door panel as there is a metal rod attached to the door frame. There should be a clip you need to release from the inside. Don't try to release the whole door panel. It is good to have another person to hold onto the door panel once you release it. I did it myself one time and broke the clip that attaches the rod and the door release latch from the inside.

Good Luck!

Wow that sounds complicating... haha.
I think I'm better off just masking off the door to plastidip that part. But thanks for the info! ill give it a look.

Hey man what's going on, I just purchased my Acura TL and I was wondering if you still had the carbon fiber trim set available?
