Car hesitating after oil change
Guys..I just got an oil change at the dealer at 3200 and I have driven about 300 miles after the oil change...it seems like the car is hesitating to go...I can def. hear the engine when I try to punch it. I asked the dealer on what oil they used...he said Quaker State 5W-20....Do you guys think I should get the oil changed out...I was thinking about switching over to Mobil 1 5W-20...any suggestion..

The oil brand and type can not have anything to do with how the
engine runs, not to where anyone could notice.
maybe they caused some other problem when they changed the oil,
bumping a sensor connection or something.

Or you don't have enough. Oil viscosity can make a noticable difference, however its generally when turning the car over in cold weather. However they used something with the same viscosity, so that wouldn't be the problem. Check the dipstick, althouhg if you have gone 300 miles on low oil the damage may already be done.

If you can get it localy, just do that, it will avoid mix ups(1 dealer used M1 5W-30), Walmart has 5 quarts for 20 bucks, so if you have a local walmart, just pic that up(gives you an exuse to drive around more).

oil will not make a noticeable difference in the way the car accelerates... If you checked your oil and it is properly filled than like the other poster said, there is something else wrong with the car. Good luck since in the age of computers and codes, if there is no code there is nothing to fix...
Do you notice a difference in gas mileage as well? You should see if it is just a hesitation issue from the gas you used by going to another brand or station. There are so many things that can have an impact.

Has it been hot in your location lately? Honda retards the timing as the intake air heats up to prevent detonation. This can manifest itself as weak throttle response after sitting for awhile in traffic.
You may feel a similar response if you got a tank of non-premium gas. I have seen estimates as high as 10% of the number of gas stations cheating on octane. Only a handful of States check for octane, and then only about once a year.

ck your oil level it is possible you do not have the right amount in there. one of our oil nozzles broke and a guy at my shop put about 15 or so qts in a car and it just barely idled. once he looked around to see if he messed something up and found nothing he pulled the dip stick and it was about an inch from the top. we had someone come out to recalibrate the nozzle.
