got an extra set of 2010 mdx keys and I want to see if I can make it work with my 2006 acura tl..


the mdx key is already cut and programmed to the mdx.


I was wondering is there a way I can transfer my current key and chip into the mdx to make it work?


any threads about this?

Ah simple answer is no. You will have to buy a blank key and cut then program for the TL.

Yes, you can retrofit it as long as the FCC ID of the remotes are the same.

You wouldn't be able to just buy a blank and have it cut, since 07/08 is laser cut and 04-06 is milled.

anychance you have the FCC ID for the tl?

my keys are so old they got rubbed off and my second fob is at home.

OUCG8D-439H-A and E48G8D-444H-A will work, 2500A-HLK1T will not work. Others I don't know!
