Cabin lights out (blue LEDs near map lights)

I recently noticed my two blue LED lights on the assembly near the map lights and the sun roof button are out. I also noticed the garage buttons are not back lit.

I had some service work done to replace the blue tooth hands free assembly which is in the same area about a year ago and I suspect that's what caused the lights to go out but I can't prove it

The dealer suggested changing the whole assembly (part #: 83253-SEP-A62ZA) which costs 400+ bucks from the dealer/300 form acuraoemparts. I'm afraid it might not even help because if the garage button lights are also out it would suggest its a wiring problem rather than the bulb dying.

So can anyone confirm on a 3rd gen TL whether the garage buttons are supposed to be lit?

I'm interested in any suggestions anyone might have to troubleshoot so I don't have to waste 300 bucks on a couple LEDs

Look in the Garage section under LED - G100. Kudos to DeathMetal

Definitely should be lit.

^^ The board in question

^^ The lights lit.

They only light up when you have the headlights on or at least the headlight switch turned half-way to the parking lights or whatever position.

Thanks mzilvar. I only have a backlight for sunroof button, that's it. The garage buttons, map light on/off button and blue dome LED lights are all out. What do you think the most likely cause is? Are all three of those part of the same circuit board? I see the map light rocker and three garage light backlight LEDs on the board in your clamp but I don't see the blue dome LEDs.

Good news I took EvilVirus' information back to the dealer and they agreed to check it out. It turns out it was just a bad connection from the previous work they did replacing the hands free link component. The best part is they did it for free Thanks for the help EvilVirus!
