Buying a 2005 TL...Need advice

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about buying a TL. Its an 05 w/95k for $11,990

Here is the car http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...52175023&Log=0

Do you think its a fair price?
I've been reading about the 105K service and trouble with the transmission going out with no warning at about the same mileage. What other problems should I expect?

I've always leased cars in the past so this will be my first time paying cash. I'm worried about the high mileage and spending $12k. How long can these care go?

I appreciate your help.

I would definetly negotiate the 105K service costs.

Here is a good thread to show how many miles you can expect to get, with proper maintenance/care......I linked you to page 14.

12k can get you a TL with lower miles. Keep looking.

4 one thing it's an out of state car no plate or they had a personalized plate which I
don't think they had. I never buy a car until I see it in person. If you can see it go
check it out. Then decide what you want to do. Remember the price is not set in stone.

I live in Orlando and will be down there next week. I would certainly check it out in person and see if they'll let me get it inspected before I purchase.

I've always owned dark colored cars with dark interior. Wanting to change it up this time.

Anyone own a tan interior, what are you likes/dislikes?

The tan interior is nice because it does not get really hot in the summer. We also own a tan colored dog so her fur doesn't show as much which is nice.
