Best deal on Honda ATF DW-1??
12 quarts @$85 shipped~ but seems like the best deal I could find. Anyone know of any other sites? Plan on draining my Tl's again and my girlfriends 2010 Civic too. I did a 2x2 on the TL like 10k ago. (Had 90k on it at the time) Only drained it once on my girls Honda. Both cars automatics of course. Just seeing if there were any other sites that have a great deal on the AFT DW-1. Thanks!

That's a pretty good deal. There's a local Honda dealer here in SLC that sells a case for $74 (+tax). But the other dealers are all well over $100+. If you can get it for $85 from Amazon I'd say go for it.

Right on. I just don't like supporting Amazon :/. But I like saving money haha

sometimes your principles are outweighed by your wallet :tomato: |
Well said! I forgot I knew a great tech at Honda, he said he could get me a case for $72. :) So win, win! :)

Good price. I get mine from oemacuraparts.com, their price is $5.78/qt. Shipping is around $15(very close from Phoenix to Las Vegas), no tax while Amazon (and most larger online sellers) collect sales tax to NV. I'll get them together with struts(for 3G MDX) in near future, not much extra shipping cost. |

Then Drain and fill it again. :) So 2x2. You are supposed to do 3x3 to get like 90% of all the old fluid out. There is a how-to on this site, its so you can get all the old transmission fluid out because when you drain it once there is old fluid still in there it doesn't all come out unless you do a flush and I would NEVER recommend a flush. They can cause more harm then good IMO. |
