ATF drain and fill questions
I just read through some hugely informative threads on racing atf, but I was left very confused as to a step to take to "try" it and see if I like it. I just did a 1x3 of dw1 into my 08 type s. Adding some redline racing atf seems to sound desirable from a longevity and performance point of view. From your experience would another 1x3 of dw1 immediately followed by a 1x3 of redline racing atf (I think??) Be a good start to test out the performance aspects? I'm asking because adding 3 quarts isn't anywhere near the 65% everyone was talking about, and I'm curious as to if it will even work at all if I'm that far away from 65% what would be a good amount to add for first time racing atf user to get somewhat crisp shifts and extended performance life.

I just did another 1x3 with dw1 today, so that's a total of 6 new quarts of dw1 in the past 300 miles, for my final 1x3 for a while would doing 1 redline D4 and 2 quarts redline racing atf (or lightweight?) Give me a good boost to the life of my clutch packs, along with a nice strong shift without the slamming 1-2shift? Ive got a trans cooler also that I want to install but I haven't dug in to figure out whether the atf heat exchanger is the long 2 run aluminum 1 or the smaller square one on the drivers side at the very front.
