DRL led swap
does anyone know why when you switch your DRL from halogen to led the led won't light? i tried a decoder with no luck and then i tried with just 1 halogen and that worked with just the led on. very frustrated at this time. this is on a 2007 TL, any help is a blessing. thanks

DRL socket only provides 6 volts to the bulb. That's why the halogen bulb lights up very dim. It only gets 6v.
When you apply 6v to a led bulb it won't even light up. In the rare chance that it does light up, you will notice only half the LEDs will light up and the ones that light up will appear very dim. Most of the time they won't even light up at all, just like what you are experiencing.
You need a relay harness that will give power to the DRL bulbs directly from the battery which is usually 12v-14v
