I always thought they were supposed to, am I wrong? And if so, then is there a way to light them up?

The OEM ones dont light up, unfortunately. I forget who the vendor is but they do sell illuminated door sills, just search the forums. Its a good DIY project as well imo.

No, they aren't supposed to light up! Sheesh!

But you can order the ones that do light up on here in group buys (if there are any left now), and on ebay. I think the ones on ebay you substitute the sills in your car, and the ones on here, if available, fit over the present ones.

Here is the link for Supercomputers (on AZ):

is the wiring complicated? I'm good with speaker wiring but anything else is hard for me.

This post made me laugh outloud. I thought the same thing the other day. I even asked my wife, "didn't these door plates light up before?"

I definitely browse this forum too much. I've seen a lot of cool mods out there. But when I start thinking "what happened to my stickshift? wasn't the handle much thinner before?".... not good.

You know I'm going crazy when I remember other people's TLS better than my own.
