Please post what you find and how you fix it. I too have a rattle in the drivers air vent (and I suspect the front passenger vent also).

I "fixed" it this afternoon. I'll do some road testing and post my result in couple of days.

Wink Integra 1999 GSR with Moonroof DS air vent removal

I found out that, in order to remove the driver's side air vent, if the car has a moonroof, you have to first remove the roof switch because there is a screw behind it.
1) So, you need to first remove the knee panel by removing two screws at the bottom and another in the coin tray. I needed to remove the coin tray to get at the screw but someone with younger eyes could probably do it without.
2) Once you get the knee panel off, you can get to the tang that holds the switch in place. There is a slot underneath the switch. You can use a flathead to depress the tang (it is toward the front of the slot. Then you need to release the connector to the moon roof switch. That also takes a bit of work with a fine flathead.
3) Once the switch is out, the screw is clearly visible and easy to remove.
4) then, with a gentle tug, the air vent comes out very easily.
