That is it

I am selling my TL and getting a Civic Si. I REALLY can NOT afford paying $80 for each tank I fill up. That lasts me less than a week too. I'm sick and tired of that shit. I'm going completely broke...

Edit: 1) you're 18 and should be driving a civic not an 07 TL
2) how are you paying 80 dollars to fill up? I pay 4.35 a gallon up here in Lake Forest, IL
3) this car gets 25-32 MPG if you dont drive like a total schmuck.....
4) Make more money, drive less, drive smarter....if all else fails....buy a prius

I wish I would've had a camera with me to take a picture for you. I think gas stations are putting 87s in premiums or something...

something is wrong with you.

what's your MPG?

even if they are putting 87 in the 91/93 which is not true, it still wouldn't be 80 dollars to fill up

you dont know how your paying 80 to fill up?

when you buy a car think about it the price is going to go up somewhere you should be prepared

So, I should be driving a Civic, not an 07 TL? You think people on this forum would be a little more mature than that. I've had this car for almost a year, without one single complaint, until gas went up like crazy. What is your point again?

You just said you were gonna sell your TL because gas was too expensive....I would say it was immature of you to assume gas wasn't going to approach almost 5 dollars a gallon...(and dont expect it to stop going up)....you are the one who is freaking out about your nice TL cause of gas...

Like I said, buy a prius or a volt if you are concerned about gas

Same here!! I thought I was the only one. I kind of drive a lot too. I love my car, but lately it's just been drinking more gas than usual.

it does not cost $80 to fill up the TL tank. it costs about $60-$65 for premium gas at about $4.25 a gallon

you must have a hole in your gas tank or something

you should invest in something like this

Reliable
Cheap parts/fix/Honda
2006 Si goes for ~$12k
Turbo for $4k
= same price as my car

dont buy it online. go into the local autozone, pepboys, advance auto. it should be around $10 or less. and dont expect a miracle, expect smoother engine response and a tiny bit better MPG

Maybe OP kept accidentally hitting "Yes" to the "Do you want a car wash with your gas today?" message?

Maybe some one is stealing your gas? or you need to do some maintenance on it, other than that and checking your tire pressure, you should be fine.
