3G TL A-spec springs/suspension

Hi all, still new to acurazine but hoping someone can help me out. I've been looking for the a-spec springs for my 3G TL for a while with no luck. Anyone know where I can get a set? I've checked many dealerships and they all said discontinued. There was a few sets on heel toe a while back but didn't get one. Kicking myself for that. eBay, Craigslist and even black market is coming up empty. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

You opened up another thread outside of black Market that's not going help. They're discontinued..

I would suggest that you start saving for some of the aftermarket options, considering the rarity of finding an A-Spec suspension. Keep saving until you can afford a set of Teins or something, and if you find A-spec components in the meantime, snatch them up and put the rest of the money down for something else.

Honestly the problem is that rare OEM parts command a higher $$ than they are otherwise worth (aside from a lucky junkyard find). You can get way more for your money with coilovers, based on what I have seen/read on AZ.

Good luck and next time don't

Keep an eye open on the Black Market. They'll pop up about every two or three months. Otherwise, go aftermarket.

Koni + H&R sport springs, H&R 28 fsb, progress 24 rsb, ur alum crank pulley, xlr8 j-pipe with third cat delete and stop tech touring kit( not installed yet) is my current setup minus the bbk. Waiting until i replace front bushings.

I wanted something with less of a drop because I live in ny. I have children and elderly riding in my car from time to time so I am aiming for sporty ride with minimal sacrifice in comfort. It's my DD but I like to throw my car in corners and drive spiritedly. I don't track. I'm sure some may say the stop tech bbk is overkill but I work in jersey and I need to stop on a dime because there is always an accident (how I lost my first car, a 96 accord lx stock).

I asked for linear spring recommendations similar to a-spec spring in another thread but that was a dead end (no ones fault). Spring rate for a-specs were/are unavailable. One could guess the fronts are between 300-400 and rear 200-250 (read on a thread someone was trying to calculate) but I am not going down that road with custom springs trying to figure out rate. That and no one really makes linear. I prefer not to get coilovers (tein sa) so I may just put on a m/t type s spring set I have laying around.

Note: I am 90% sure the a-specs are linear front and back but I could be wrong so please don't fault me.

I posted this thread in hopes that a member or their friends had a set of a-spec springs they forgot about in storage. It's a slim chance but worth a shot. Maybe they didn't even think to sell theirs or don't browse the black market.

I've read a lot in the acurazine forums ( ihatecars being the most helpful) and I was leaning toward his suspension build which is why I wanted the a-spec specifically. I wanted that balance he keeps educating others about.

I understand the a-specs are discontinued hence the inflated price but I really don't know what they should go for it one does pop up. What do you guys think is fair offer?

Thanks for help guys!
