NOTICE POSTED 21 APR 2017 DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, MOST OF THE LINKS IN THE 3G GARAGE DO NOT WORK. It appears that the non-working links were deleted or otherwise corrupted. There are some that work so we hope that the topic you are interested in is still available. If not, we apologize for the circumstances but there is no way to get it corrected. Attachment 56281 Important Recall Information TSB 08-016: Safety Recall: 2004–08 TL Power Steering Feed Hose Leak Background Prolonged high under-hood temperatures may cause the power steering hose to deteriorate prematurely and may cause the hose to crack and leak power steering fluid. Power steering fluid leaking onto a hot catalytic converter will generate smoke and could lead to an under-hood fire. TSB 08-013: Saftey Recall: Windshield Wiper Motor Does Not Work Background A breather port on the windshield wiper motor vents warm air from the wiper motor during operation. If water enters the breather port, it can cause corrosion that could make the wiper motor stop working. A non-operating wiper motor increases the risk of a crash in certain conditions. TSB 07-017: Safety Recall: Fuel Pump Relay May Cause Engine No-Start or Stalling Background A manufacturing fault with the fuel pump relay (PGM-FI Main Relay 2) could cause a coil wire inside the relay to break. If this happens, the fuel pump will not operate and the engine may not start. If the relay fails while driving, the engine may stall without warning and a crash could occur. TSB 05-043: Safety Recall: Right Front Impact Sensor Is Loose Background On some 2006 TLs, the bolts on the right (passenger’s side) front impact sensor were not properly torqued. If the bolts loosen or fall out, the sensor may fail to properly detect a crash, possibly resulting in delayed or non-deployment of the passenger's airbag. TSB 05-013: Safety Recall: Fuse Box May Cause a No-Start or Stalling Condition Background A loose terminal in the under-dash fuse/relay box may cause the fuel pump to lose power. If the fuel pump becomes inoperative, the engine may not start. In the worst case, if the fuel pump loses power while driving, the engine could stall without warning, and a crash could occur. https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/bose-speakers-4-sale-112766/ Canadian 2004TL recall Motor Vehicle Safety - Transport Canada https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88639 https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90445 U.S. Safety Recall: 2004 TL Automatic Transmission 2nd Gear Inspection: Service Bulletin 04-020 From VIN 19UUA66..4A000001 thru 19UUA66..4A014224 U.S. 04TL TSB: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...9&postcount=11 Calling ACS or checking on Owner Link of Acura.com would be the best way to get update... Consequence: GEAR FAILURE COULD RESULT IN TRANSMISSION LOCKUP, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH. Remedy: ON VEHICLES WITH 15,000 MILES OR LESS, THE DEALER WILL UPDATE THE TRANSMISSION WITH A SIMPLE REVISION TO THE OIL COOLER RETURN LINE TO INCREASE LUBRICATION TO THE SECOND GEAR. ON VEHICLES WITH MORE THAN 15,000 MILES, THE DEALER WILL INSPECT THE TRANSMISSION TO IDENTIFY GEARS THAT HAVE ALREADY EXPERIENCED DISCOLORATION DUE TO OVERHEATING. IF DISCOLORATION EXISTS, THE TRANSMISSION WILL BE REPLACED IF DISCOLORATION IS NOT PRESENT, THE DEALER WILL PERFORM THE REVISION TO THE OIL COOLER RETURN LINE.
