been busy laying wood flooring, tearing up fireplace and putting up a shiplap wall in the casa. neighbors prob hate me and my table saw now.

still havent sold the car, one auto dealer offered me 6600 cash or if i wanted to pay him 175 he would put it on his lot and said he guaranteed it would sell for 7500 in 60 days...or i might just trade her in for a conversion van and go roadtripping.

my shoes are doing good, got a bit dull so i got some trump facial cleanser and the orange came back bright as ever.

apparently shiplap walls are all the rage on pintrest thanks to fixer upper so i put them up and got the vertical spacing just right but then wife decided she wanted coastal shiplap look not rustic farmhouse look so down came the panels, away went the gap. now she just wants to paint them white for the beachy look. coastal decor in texas is hard to do but since we are beachbums at heart we will make it work until we can move back to Florida or SoCal.....

But when they lost Viacom.. wasn't worth it.
I don't like Directv as much.. but they gave me an Apple TV 4th gen for free and upgraded me to their 100 channel tier + HBO for the low low promotion ($35 /mo fo lyfe).

I waited from 3-5 for Comcast on Saturday...get a recorded call that tech is at my door. Noop. Call to make sure they guy was still coming...yeah for sure.
Never showed...at 5 I rescheduled for today, same slot.

Fucking coxsuxers...and the association pays for 140 channels I'll get for free so I'm going that route for sure and have to stick with them.

I had their top tier for years.. was like 50/20.. then it bumped to 100/? still low upload.. $60ish after tax / fees
No equipment change, then +$10 a mo was added out of nowhere.. I complained, nothing.
Then they sent me letter saying they upgraded to 300/something still abysmal, get a new router for higher speeds for free
I get there to trade in router and was told unequoivocally that no higher / new charges for anything.. 6 mos later.. bill is now over 120..
Fuck them.. I shoved it up their reps ass when I returned it..
Sir, you forgot the power cable.. stuffed that down their throat..
They did send me a check for $70..

I settled for 10MBPS for $20 a month but mainly cause I was afraid I'd get roped for tether from my work phone for netflix at night etc...
which I did...they're killing tethering functionality on my cell and sending me a verizon mifi instead. Saves the company money but still...
I need wifi at home...
Don't need the fastest because I need to keep my overhead low and I only sleep there about twice a week anyway.
