Honestly, I really loved the Huper Optik but after getting the CeraLuxe, I almost want to get the car redone. It's that much cooler. Plus the shop will do whatever you want. If you were so inclined to exceed the "legal limit" Hop on over to Houston.

Replaced front door speakers because passenger side was blown.
Can't believe Mazda would charge extra for the Bose 6 speakers setup over the base 4 speakers... they are the shittiest paper speakers you could produce for like $3.45. Even replacing them by the cheapest discontinued Infinity 6x8s I could find makes a world of difference and removes all this disgusting muddiness.
Thinking about replacing the rear ones since they're exactly the same, the backseat passengers ( bow chicka wow wow) could only thank me.
Also put white LEDs errywhere inside cause incandescent light bulbs are so 2007.
i bet the bose are tuned to the frequency of the amp and overall would sound better, but not louder. muddiness sounds like it might be the mid range you took out with aftermarket speakers!

culo, so many curiosities with those twins...so many.
Nah that's the thing, the driver one worked fine. They're just very shitty speakers, the internet is literred with proof of that. They're supposed to do some mids and a bit of low but there's no filter so even highs get sent to them. The tweeters are honestly not any better, it's just a shitty engineered system with crappy compinents, the head unit is not too bad though.
And naaaah, I fucked with the Aerio enough. Fixed a few things on it. Even modded the blinker relay so it wouldn't hyperflash with LEDs. 😂 Put a cheap armrest, changed the radio, LED headlights, LED interior. There' no stopping the car bug man, whether you're driving a winter shitbox or a summer show queen haha!
