I agree with Majofo here...spend that money on a healthy down payment on a used AMG.
Stay away from the V. It's got a lot of power but the V isn't for everyone.

- you have a friend that can tig weld
- you can tig weld
- you have experience to troubleshoot and make your own boost.
I know what you mean, though. Going boosted on a NA platform always increases risk, etc. But... it's a toy car, not a DD. These kits are tried and tested though... I can think of one particular guy who mentioned he has logged over 35k miles on his TT setup, with regular and frequent track days thrown into the mix. Still on the stock block. Still no issues. I'm sure it will eventually die, but shiiiet... that's pretty good reliability in my mind.

I threw an ecoboost around in the dirt for a week...in sport+ it had some balls to it...averaged 26mpg over 1400 miles.
You can tell they tune the turbos down a lot though...that car could be seriously fun...and it was pretty damn nice to look at too.

I can only imagine...the GT350 must be a ton of fun to hear and drive.
Traction off and in a dirt lot I was able to throw the body around pretty easily...it doesn't recover as quickly as the V though IMO...even with the added weight.
