The more you do the early morning workouts, the better your body will acclimate. I'll do a small snack (kind bar or something) before gymming and then have an actual breakfast (okay sometimes not actual, but just a brotein drink) . But I also skip meals very often

It's a great routine I've been setting up to get my mornings going because of all the endorphins I get. Sometimes I'll have difficulty waking up but after a gym sesh, i'm pretty wired.

Yeah, the issue I have with morning is I either need to be up at the asscrack of dawn to go to the gym, work out, then get home to get Jr's day started and off to school to get to work on time. Or I need to get him off to school and then hit the gym, which sets the start of my day back by about an hour that I need to make up later. And for some reason, I've not been dealing with crippling insomnia for a while, so it's been difficult doing any work after midnight.

But now, with summer break, I might have some flexibility to get mornings going and then figure something out for the school year. I think Jr's gonna start riding the bus to school. He needs that dynamic. Maybe let him bring his nunchucks to brain some fools on the ride.

I do like the power (bottom) start to the day. But I also like burning to exhaustion at the gym in the evening too. I sleep like a drunken baby when I work out at night.

So I think the only real option is to find a sugarmomma that will allow me to just be a stay at home cuck. Get an Audi, gym all day, brotein and celery, etc...

I gave up on gyms a long time ago...
good to bird watch, I guess but in the time it takes to drive to a fro...you could have gone for a brisk
2 mile run and done pushups pullups dips planks in your driveway before the family even realized
you're gone.
I like looking for places to do those things randomly around the office or yard or out and about too...

I admire those that have no problem waking up at 5a to go to the gym and not requiring a nap when they're done.

That's why I go to the gym between 4 and 5pm - plus there's all the milfs getting their steps in on the treadmills around that time.

Well sounds like if you no longer have the insomnia sitch, then Asscrack will do JUST fine

Luckily for me, I don't typically have an issue with 'not enough sleep' so even if i sleep late, I still manage to wake up early to gym before starting my work day at a regular time..

Really, my wife was the instigator in the whole gym thing. She likes doing the group fitness classes* and this place is really convenient, well equipped, and has lots of nice additions (pool, daycare for the kids, brotein/kurtsandwich counter, thoiboi saunas, and shit like that).

I tagged on as a family member so the amortized cost is pretty low for us. The pool alone is worth it to me since that's the one thing I always wanted access to when I was running and needed a low impact cardio recovery day. But then I started taking these yoga classes and it's kicking my ass, but feels good. Hopefully I'll be able to suck my own dick soon.

Access to the weights is a bonus, and having a whole flight of dreadmills is nice for inclement weather.

Plus the treadMILFs, like flippy said.

I'm giving it a year and will reevaluate.



*Remember: she drives the 4runner, I don't have an Audi, and her sidearm of choice is a .45... So think reallllly well about making a "group fitness" joke... Cuz she'll kill your ass. Also might do murder to you.
