So I buy the Audi with mismatched tires...bubble in one whatever...
I toss the 2 and keep the conti and buy 2 more used conti with similar wear to my existing 2.
within a few days I end up with a nail in the sidewall of both the rear (more tread) ones and one
bubble develops in the sidewall. Yes I put a plug in them.
Yesterday I got an alignment finally...my good buddy was giving me a hard time for the worst tire...
they tell the carwash guys to handwash it, and what do you know, they run it through the carwash
which has a metal wheel guide...they catch and pinch the inner sidewall and tear it. Now they are buying
me a new tire. I swear, I have some dumb luck. I'm just gonna put Michelin PSS all around and call it
a day.

Trust me, I know...
I knew I needed to make a decision on tires soon.
On the plus side, no TPMS and whatever tires I buy fit on the aftermarket
and oem wheels so it's a good investment no matter what route I take.
