Just gotta love their design. The way their vehicles look just works for me.

In reviews, I do read a common thread is that the steering is a bit...detached. Personally, I think it's just great. There are quirks which I've posted in my car's thread but overall, gotta say love the look, love the drive, love the performance. I'm sure you are in the same boat.

Yup, I have some of the weirdness, too. For example, if I put the car in park with it running, get out and walk away, I sometimes get a parking brake failure warning. It's meaningless.

About the Audi...if you get out while the car is running, mine automatically engages the E-E-brake.
The MMI takes a bit to connect to my phone sometimes which is annoying. The AC always defaults to not
recirculating air, I'm sure there's some sort of reason for that. The DSG is a tad jerky when you give it mid
throttle input...not light or pedal to the medal. At least until it warms up the fluid. I'll probably do the service
pretty soon as it's due at 75K. You have to push the auto-down feature on the driver door buttons pretty hard
to get them acknowledge which makes you have to do it more than once usually on at least one of the windows.

All in all, I am not disappoint.

I always found it pretty easy to confuse the DSG in my GTI with mid power inputs.

VW loves to have the AC set to non recirc. Which is really strange, because if I have the fan running on non-recirc and switch to recirc, it automatically turns the AC on...weird.

The auto down windows are wonky in just about every CANBUS car I've driven. You can hit both window switches in the FRS, but it'll only cause one to auto up/down - the other will just stop, despite having hit the distinct click for the auto feature.

The VW is similar too. I can use auto up/down on both front windows without a problem, but sometimes the rear windows don't know what to do.

All in all, you tend to chalk up these oddities as character, learn to live with them, and eventually appreciate them, especially since everything else about them is rewarding.

Morgan, yes sir...nailed it. I had to even think about what oddities I've experienced. I'd rather
have these little quirks than the door lock actuators just point blank not working even after being
swapped out on the A3.

I will eventually get a real tune and dsg tune though, I want the crisp shifts in all scenarios...with mid input
it's almost like the car is trying to mimic the delay of a shift of a manual. I figured maybe it's because the
fluid wasn't fully warmed up yet.
