Yeah, part of autism is not knowing social rules/cues and whatnot. But yeah it's like a new friend coming into to a group of old established friends and try to do their inside jokes/etc. to try to fit in and just comes off as weird/awkward AF

It's all good, MM. If you didn't mean any malice in your joke, it's fine...just frankly, it was a very peculiar quip for a guy who hasn't even gotten into his car yet and has been waiting for months. That's all.

One of us, Maj, I think, posted that your S5 would be used when you got it, meaning you had to wait while someone else was putting miles on it. I tried to top him saying that the transporter damaged it and had to fix it before you found out about it, and that's why it was late.


Reality is, Audi had to perfect the car in the factory before they would ship it to you!

Fair enough...and obviously, alot of that has to do with the fact that I don't have much familiarity with you yet. Anyways, all good.

The car was actually on Canadian shores as of October but was held at the port in storage because apparently, Audi NA did not want to release 2019 models. Some of it had to do with the inventory of the 2018s and some of it had to do with the emissions requirements after the recent scandal that rocked the German car trifecta. So, really, all other years, I probably would've had my car by early October/November.

All good. Should be able to drive off in it by Tuesday.

Maj has been here literally forever and he is genuinely a good guy (sidenote: eat a dick, @Majofo ).

Remember, we all genuinely like each other here. We all have feelings and we push a lot of boundaries. But wrecks and crashes are not usually okay on car forums (a lot of them have their own threads to post those kinds of pictures). Here's the deal: Never, ever, ever, ever joke about destroying something people are passionate about. This is an automotive forum. Don't joke about wrecking other people's cars.

Taco couldn't handle Majofo and now he's gone. That's all there is to take from that situation.
