Talking whisky equates to circle jerking? Wow, this hip-hop Taco-Tobey-peanuts-salt-l33t-speak really is different these days.

I'm fighting off a cold.

Had some serious sinus congestion and pressure so I went and raided the back of my medicine cabinet. Found some OG Sudafed from early 2000 before the Feds started watching. Popin' pillz and gettin' goofy.

You should always remember that and respect that regardless of your inane political spats.

nfn would be the moron -- if he was allowed into Jiro's restaurant -- asking for wasabi and soy sauce.

Again poor shit

I wish I was rich.

And frankly, don't give a f*ck that nfn served in the military. Lots of people go there because it's an easy meal-ticket and end up pissing it away (waste of resourcing) and being a horrid soldier. Anyways, not saying that is what nfn is because I have no idea what is military background is but, for me, it's not some sort of God card.

And the rich person don't give a f*ck talk is meh. If that's the case, why teach kids anything? Why don't I just go sauce up my Mom's beef brisket noodle? Why don't I go tell my MiL her pho sucks. I'll just squeeze in so much hoisin, the soup turns black. Why don't I just go button up all the buttons in my Tom Ford suit jacket? Why don't I just go attempt to hip hop Bach's Goldberg Variations and call it music...?

Sure, there is rich. But, there is also "class" and the proper way of doing things. And being rich and not giving a f*ck is one way to look at it...but, I beg to differ.

Pretty convenient to say for someone who didn't serve and didn't sacrifice.

Probably very different but my entire Dad's side and him all served in the military in Taiwan. My GP fought in WWII on the losing side that fled China.

FiL served in the Vietnamese Navy.

Naw. If it came across terse, it wasn't meant that way. I may not get the l33t-speak in here at times but know Maj is just horsing around in here albeit, offering his perspective...I'm just having discussion.

Not that different, I wanted to know if you understood the sacrifice it takes to serve.
Whether you're at the front line or peeling potatoes in the kitchen.

There you go then. So, I'm not completely unknown to military life. My uncle (Mom's brother) is still a ranking officer (colonel) in the Taiwanese military to this day. We have lots of friends of the family who still are from that world too albeit, with Taiwan, you have to serve if you are a citizen...I almost had to go back but my uncle pulled some strings and well, I lived in the US...so, made no sense practically for me to disappear for 1-2 years to do it.

So, I get it to some degree even if I cannot confess to having been IN it. I just may view it a bit differently than you and members of my family would say the same.

Hey man...I give a sh*t because I still have a mailing address to Ill. about this crap. Yeah, maybe I take some of it a bit more personally than others but then again, most of my clan are pretty much worked up Dennison's ascension and his idiocy to-date. Whatever, should not even have talked about nfn in here...that's my mistake and on me.
