but if I am a dunce I get a pass cause I'm white.
I like how this is working out.

Unless I'm in the bario, and then my Mexican roots are obvious.
or I'm somewhere in Europe and my Swiss roots are convenient.

What are the specs? What's been done? What's the plan? What are you looking at next to do to it (don't act like you haven't been pricing shit out for weeks). Quit being a cock tease already and release that big bad thing on us. I'm talking about your penis, here. No, but for reals. Tell us about your cock
Hahaha thanks man I promise I'm not being a cock tease on purpose. I bought the car in Iowa and now I'm driving back to Maryland. So I'm doing a lot of driving. I'll have a build thread on nsxprime as soon as I get back and can sit down and write a detailed post.

congrats again, Tech. Killer deal although at that price I'm guessing it has a sordid past or high mileage. I wouldn't shy away from either though, I'm sure that's obvious.
Lmao yeah it's a manual. It had one accident (no fram damage) back in the 90s. And it only has 138k miles. The guy needed cash for an investment opportunity. I had it PPI'd by an acura dealership in Chicago and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. The guy didn't even really wanna sell since he had new leather put in for the seats, new wing, wings west body kit, comptech headers, tein suspension, new tires with TSW wheels and new rebuilt speakers since he got it earlier this year. With what he's done I can see he was on his way to making this car beautiful.

Curious though, why didn't he ask 50+ for it, was he just not aware of the market?

C'mon DeerMeat. Don't make him incriminate himself...

He didn't give the guy $35k in cash.

But do the math. 1200 just got back from a sandy vacation on aB BigBrother transport which has a little less border scrutiny.

Brings back a couple duffle bags full of dirty laundry and some of Afghan Uncle's finest white. Split the take with the homie loading and unloading the transport. Flip and wash some of the product through "cash transactions" like vintage sports cars and big screen TVs. Keep a little extra to make the next few years pass by quicker.

It's a pretty standard transaction.

It made me scratch my head and really wary of the deal too J but I literally can't find anything mechanically wrong with this car. The NSX whisperer lives like 40 minutes away from me so I'mma have him look over it too but the certified NSX tech in Chicago said he's surprised that I got it so low based on the condition and what they're going for. He's aware of the market as he's had like 4 before this one. I asked him why didn't he ask for more and he said he doesn't like to price gouge. The market is in a bubble but he only charges what the car is really worth.

I only stick to the 99% stuff, myself. 15ers are a buncha pussies

honestly, I've seen rare occasions of NSXs being sold dirt cheap, even in today's market. I remember seeing an estate sale for some old dude that croaked... they sold his NSX for like 50% value. Thing is, you have to pretty much have cash in hand to buy when they come up, as everyone wants to pounce on them.

all jokes aside, I do agree with you on the training thing...
dog needs to know the pecking order or it could be dangerous for kids etc.

Yeah, if there's multiple dogs around, they can figure their own pecking order. But if humans are around, they're always second. Dog psychology is kind of interesting... we always talk to dogs or treat them like they're human, but our behavioural traits are so much different than theirs.

For example, I read recently that that you should never pat a dog on the head, or scratch their head when you first meet them. It's what I've always done. But to a dog, it's a scary thought having a stranger placing their hand where it's difficult for them to defend themselves. Huh. They might not react blatantly about it, but they might smack their lips- a sign of producing additional saliva when nervous. But to me it's just like "oh sweet, I'm petting this new dog, he/she is so soft and adorable!! "
