Yeah I made a bit of coin, but, I had to pay her out, handsomely though. I still walked away with a bit. I haven't decided what to do with it yet... It's just been sitting collecting pea sized amounts of interest.

My house is tiny. 1250sqft. But for two people it was more than enough. All on one floor too, so not bad. If I built a two storey in the same size, I could have saved like 50-60k... Bungalows use a ton more concrete due to the bigger foot print which is super pricey compared to anything else in the house. My first house was bigger than this one... But I do have 50% more land now, so you know... Win some, lose some.

I have a legal basement suite down there. It's developed, but I don't get to use it. Storage logistics became quite the challenge since I couldn't use the basement. I installed overhead racks in the garage, got creative in the closets, bought a shed, etc... I was also able to get rid of a bunch stuff I didnt need and was just hoarding. No room? Out it goes! But hey... I'll take the lack of storage space for being mortgage free. I just pay more in utilities but whatever

Yeah I can appreciate the car in stock or modified form. I used to be a purist but recently have fallen in love with after market mods...plus I'm not really worried about what it's worth, I plan to keep it forever
