You make any equity on the sale? Or was it like a split, you keep main domicile and she gets the slum properties?

Yeah I made a bit of coin, but, I had to pay her out, handsomely though. I still walked away with a bit. I haven't decided what to do with it yet... It's just been sitting collecting pea sized amounts of interest.

Well that's because you haven't reached out to the Wu for financial advice.

My house is tiny. 1250sqft. But for two people it was more than enough. All on one floor too, so not bad. If I built a two storey in the same size, I could have saved like 50-60k... Bungalows use a ton more concrete due to the bigger foot print which is super pricey compared to anything else in the house. My first house was bigger than this one... But I do have 50% more land now, so you know... Win some, lose some.

I thought I was happy. Denial is one helluva bitch. She's a PM for AHS... Was considering med school, but I dunno what she's planning now. Zero fuxks given either way hahaha.

We had our issues but I still don't think any of it was unresolvable. She just decided she didn't want to put the effort in. Bless her heart... I think I'm happier now than I'd ever could be with her, trying to make things work.

Sorry to hear that. Project Manager for the health group vs. doctor is rather different. She's doing infrastructure/facility-type initiatives, right?

Anyways, if you're happier, that's all that matters. You guys still in the same city and bump into each other often? She didn't re-marry, right?

I have a legal basement suite down there. It's developed, but I don't get to use it. Storage logistics became quite the challenge since I couldn't use the basement. I installed overhead racks in the garage, got creative in the closets, bought a shed, etc... I was also able to get rid of a bunch stuff I didnt need and was just hoarding. No room? Out it goes! But hey... I'll take the lack of storage space for being mortgage free. I just pay more in utilities but whatever

Ah nice. To be mortgage free is AWESOME. Freedom-city. I wish I was mortgage-free.

I think I'm one of the only people on the planet who doesn't like modified NSXs... The car was badass in its era... Why fuck with it.

Though wheels and a modest drop I'm fine with. Very easy to undo... Those NSXs are worth way more unmodified...

Yeah I can appreciate the car in stock or modified form. I used to be a purist but recently have fallen in love with after market mods...plus I'm not really worried about what it's worth, I plan to keep it forever

If I had a dollar for every time I said that, I'd have like 5 dollars now. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard someone else say that, I'd have like 1,340,857 dollars now.

Plans and priorities always change.
