I'm looking at it a more financial perspective: I picked up the headlights because they were a steal and I can resell the parts for more. I'm looking at the Tein SS' because they have less mileage on it than my suspension 105k vs ~70k. He just wants someone to pay for a shop to do it or more realistically, I can do it too..

Do I do a day trip and come back to SLO, or spend the night?

I sure as hell would capitalize on the opportunity if i still had my bike..

which reminds me, i need to buy a new frame and transfer the non-damaged crashed parts over so i can start biking again...

Are you road biking or mountain biking? I have both, but my MTB has collected dust since I bought my Domane.

I'm more of a road cyclist myself.. I prefer the 20-25MPH sprints and kicking in than jumping boulders and cracking my skull open

FWIW, I dislike slushy weather above all...my sinuses go weird whenever the temperature gets into that territory for some odd reason. And don't get me started on the mess on the roads and how filthy your car gets...I also love the rocks and debris flung into your windshield.

As stupid as it sounds, I much prefer -20 or -30...the roads are dry...clean.

Yea, my MTB was more basic, so I never went on the extreme side. I get more enjoyment out of hauling ass and dodging cars

Totally agree!! I'd rather freeze my bag off for 4-5 minutes until the car warms up, then deal with the road mess. It's brutal right now. Doesn't even make sense for me to wash the car because it will be filthy by the time I get home

Worst is when my pants accidentally touch the car. Gah....

Well I've decided to try and sell my 05 TL with 94k on it. Would be looking to upgrade to a 08 Type S in white. Wish me luck.

Yup...on slushy weather days, I'm always discovering mud-spots on my pants, shoes, bag, or coat...anywhere that accidentally brushes against the vehicle. And walking around in that weather? Yeah, suckage...muddy puddles and sidewalks FTL.

Hmmm...lucky here, slush only ever lasts a day or so, then all is melted and can wash car.

Hi Gary!!

Speaking of Colorado... Go Broncos!!

Although there's zero chance they will beat Carolina in the Super Bowl

The experts (all but Tony Dungy) said they had no chance of beating he Patriots, and the Steelers and have a dozen other teams this year. But the have, I'm skeptical but have faith. Everyone seems to forget that the Panthers played in a shitty division this year, and I don't think the NFC is as strong as the AFC. We'll see.

They barely beat the patriots yesterday and if I'm not mistaken, the patriots had a number of injured players. I doubt they would have won if they played a full strength patriots team (as much as I dislike the pats).

Carolina's QB is a force to be reckoned with. He alone will give the Broncos a run for their money.

Also not enough deflated balls

I'm glad the Pats aren't in it.. and I'm sure Yummy will concur with that sentiment

Carolina played some great ball last night holy crap...

I really hope Denver wins. I've been following them for a number of years now. It'd be cool to send Manning off with another ring too.

Gotta give credit where it's due. Denver's 3-man rush really kept Brady contained

Sorry, Frantz.

I got annoyed yesterday when Gronkowski started throwing a temper tantrum on the field because he claimed to have been held while trying to make a catch. Yet he was barely even touched. No grabbing. Nothing. Glad the ref was like "fuck yo hat, Gronkowski".

And c'mon, I'm pretty sure the Pats are the broncos mortal enemy
