Yes, I did. Just closed the deal
2007 KBP TL type-s 6MT with 99,000 miles. Original asking price was $16.5k. I talked them down to $15k after they realized I would have to pay for the timing belt service out of pocket soon. Came to $16.4k OTD. Beautiful car, great condition. Only thing that I dislike is that it has the tan interior. That will soon change as I will be swapping my type-s interior to the KBP.
I've never driven a manual more than 5 minutes in my life. I have a 14 hour drive home to learn
I do have a motorcycle, so I understand how everything works just things like sitting on a hill etc worry me. Hopefully I don't smoke the clutch too much.

dammit....I feel like I havent partied even close to as hard as you guys do....

I put over $5k into my 5AT over the past month. All of that aside from the aspec kit, paint job, and ingalls rear camber kits is transferable over to my new 6MT kbp, so not too much of a loss. The time spent, I cannot get back.
I also came out with a 6MT, a car with 50,000 less miles than my current type-s, and the most coveted color available for our cars aside from purple
I don't think it was a bad decision at all. Here's to me not burning up the clutch on the drive home. Too bad I can't learn to drive standard on Youtube

just busting your balls man. you're doing the right thing, KBP type-s 6MT...umm YES PLEASE!!!and like you said you can transfer over mostly everything you want to and just sell your current TL 100% stock. i'm looking forward to pics and a full report!
the TL's manual tranny is a bit finicky and takes some getting used to but you'll have plenty of time to figure it out on the way back from picking it up.
