3G Owners Near Detroit, MI
 

Hi guys, my transmission is making me go insane. Is there anyone around the Detroit Metro Area with a 3G TL (2007 or 2008, since I have the 2007) that runs correctly so I can at least see if mine is all that messed up? RPM's flare coming out of 2nd into 3rd if I don't let off the gas. Also has the drag from 3rd to 2nd, not as bad as it was after changing the 3rd/4th gear pressure sensors. I had a shop do a 3 x 1. They said fluid looked fine so I shouldn't bother with further flushes. Can also feel the gears engage on almost every single shift. Feels like the engage cleanly but it's weird coming from a 2001 TL and every other car I've drove lol. Plan is to do a 3 x 3 myself this week and go from there.

Try disconnecting the battery for a little while and reconnecting it, that may help if it's something to do with the computer and learning. You'll need the radio and Nav codes if you do that though.
