2008 Acura TL Navi

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly but I came across your site and had some questions. I just bought a used 2008 Acura TL with Navi. Is there anything in particular I should do as an owner of a used Acura. I think I figured out how to erase all the old owners info on the navigation system... I think, that is. LOL My main question is with Bluetooth. I FINALLY got my iPhone 8plus to connect to the bluetooth for phone calls ...shouldn't I be able to play music from my phone through bluetooth as well??? Also any suggestions for starting fresh with the car and system as a new owner of a used vehicle. I have all radio navi codes etc. Someone also said I should reset the EUC??? The old owner was quite a bit older than myself and I drive a little faster than she did. Something ab out the gas peddle, push all the way down with key in ignition??? Forgive me if I'm asking in the wrong section...

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a topic/technical issue which will require replies and discussion, this thread has been moved from the New Member Introductions forum to the model specific forum.

No you can't stream music from your phone. Check out this thread. It's very easy to install in the trunk.

The USA-Spec BT45-ACU (note; do NOT buy the BT45-HON3, that will not work for your car) is probably the best way to go for you. The installation takes no more than a half hour and works pretty darn well.
