A couple of comments:
  • I'm kind of thinking the above ad is for 4-cylinder Honda engines; there may be an upcharge for your V6.
  • Spend the extra money to have the tensioner and oil pump seal changed.
  • I would also recommend having the cam seals and front crank seal replaced.

sorry but a proper TB/WP job will run you around $1600-$1700 at the dealer. That not include extra 4 hours of labor just to reseal the oil pump assembly.

I agree with the previous responses. I think my 105k service was about $1200 from my local Honda dealer. I "should" have done the additional seals at that time since mine started leaking with the next few months after the service was performed. So get details on exactly what is and isn't included in the service and compare quotes from a couple places. There are lots and lots of previous threads talking about this service on what you must replace and should replace along with some guesstimates on costs.

Wow. I got my TB/WP/Cam Seal/Crank Seal/Serpentine Belt/Tensioner at my local independent shop for $450! Did I make out like a bandit??

Now you are just pushing it! $450 for labor is a still a very good deal, if you asked me...

I agree completely, for the amount of work that needs to be done. It's a great deal!
