2005 Acura TL shifter box

does anyone know if a 2008 Acura TL type s 6 speed shifter box will work in a 2005 Acura TL 6 speed? Is it stronger and better?!? I need to know ASAP!

it’s the gear selector box, it’s what the shift knob is attached too lol.
