2005 Acura TL Headlights

Hey guys I was wondering about the Acura TL headlights. You know how there's an orange/yellow light at the side of the headers. How much does it cost to make it clear like this?

You can't buy the outer lenses separate from the housing

Sometimes you can find one or two in the Acurazine Marketplace (aka Black Market) but they are few and far between.

Sbarbee54 Did you try a headlight restoration kit yet? Try that before buying a new housing lens for $260 each. There are some good ones on the market. 3M, Maguire's, Turtle Wax, etc.

efff the restoration b.s. Take them out, take them to a bodyshop that is worth a crap and have them clearcoated. If they are a good shop they should be using good clearcoat, U.V additives in the clear can virtually guarantee that your lights wont fade or yellow for the next 15 years.

I had mine done on my 2G a couple years ago at a shop and they definitely didn't clear coat the lenses. It was yellow again in a month. Waste.

Yeah I wish that is all I had to do, the damn think has some major scratching I think from the previous owner trying to get the yellow out. i guess I buy new housing and just send the out to the guy on the forum that does custom lights.

You can still fix the scratches, restore the headlights, and keep them from yellowing yourself. Just sand them buff them and use this stuff to keep them from yellowing: http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti...t-coating.html

The stuff actually works. I restored my headlights almost a year ago and they still look great. My headlights weren't that rough, but here's how they turned out.
