I have a question: I have factory installed fogs and I wanna upgrade to HID. Is there a way to remove the diffuser that surrounds the halogen bulb??? It looks like there is a simple screw holding it in place but how to access it??

I think you have to open up the foglight housing on your type S to do that.

Yeah he's legit.

Do you have anybody in the states to redirect it up here?

That's what I did.

Tried contacting him but he's blocked any communication through eBay. I'm in Vancouver and can get a Washington state postal box but not many people are willing to ship to a unconfirmed papal address. For OEM his price are a steal! Lol.

Be-careful who you buy from because I don't get OEM fogs, but I also don't mess with EBAY since most of them are plastic and will burn up. I pay around $80 for the set compared to $50 on ebay, but when the plastic burns or the EBAY ones crack you will be upset that an extra $25-$30 wasn't spent for the quality fogs.

I install these and purchase everything needed for install so you don't have to. Pm me for details and we can set something up. I can located in Central NJ.
Hi

How much will you charge for the complete installetion, I'm located in Toronto, Canada and i will be sending you by mail the bumper grill to install the fog lights.

Well I'm just glad to know there is a way to replace the glass (I assume that is why they made it accessible) in the even I take a rock to one of the lenses.

The job requires A LOT more work than just cutting the lower grills. You have to cut into your bumper, AND you have to trim the fog housing to shape.

Best bet is to get a local to do it - Contact me heheh

Note we both have Type-S grills (upper and lower).

I have a 3rd Gen Acura TL and I have a set of H7 HID's from a previous car. I would like to incorporate them on my TL but I'm having trouble finding a set of fog light lamps that are H7 that I could possibly use. I've found that some model Audi's and BMW's used H7 sized fog lights. The best I've found is a 2000 Audi A4's stock fog lights. I just want to make sure that I could modify the A4's fog light housing fairly easily to make it fit. Anybody heard of this or have any input that might help me out?

Thanks,

-Shannon G

It's a 2005. haha... I thought about it and am coming to the realization that by the time I spend the money on a set of H7 fog lights, that I'd prob be just better off buying diff HID's for my DDM ballast.

I'd love to see some different options used, like Blazer projector fog lights. I had them on my Trailblazer SS and the rocked. They would easily fit but not sure how to install them cleanly. The cutoff was great.
