2004 TL - Saturn ION
 

I saw a saturn ION today and i could not help to notice that the 2004 TL looks identical in the back as the ION. If anyone could post pics of the back of both cars ... please do .....

I see the TL resembling other cars besides the ION, you could compare the rear to the Camry, Taurus, Jetta, Audi's, etc. Even a Civic coupe.

It is in the family, but not as round.

The back of the TSX IMO, looks just like the last gen Camry.

But you guys need to admit that the new 04 TL interior is awsome.

The new TL's rear shares a strong resemblance to the 00-03 Mitsu. Galant, bumper shape, lights and trunk lid shape.

I agree those squinty long lights look very similiar.

Well, I lied, except for the hand parking break. It looks so ugly and way so wrong in position. I do like the leg parking break on my 01 CL S much better.

Why is that if you don't mind me asking? I personally think the foot brake is out of character on a Honda.

I think the new Maxima looks like an Ion.

personally, I like the foot brake better than the hand brake because hand brake is right by the stick and it looks so crowded in that erea. Beside, the new 04 TL had brake is set very high, and I just do not think it is in right position just in case the e-shift is used, but i could be wrong. One more thing is that is hard to clean that area sometime because it is to crowded, in my opinion.

The only reason that I do not like the hand brake because of of cosmetic, not performancewise.

I used to think the Maxima looked like a ION too from behind, but Like always its always different in person..
