Is your TL close to 105k miles or 105k kilometers?

If it's 105,000 km, the timing belt isn't due until probably another 50,000 km-- around 168k km.

The timing belt service should be done when service "4" shows up, which usually occurs somewhere between 100k miles and 115k miles, depending on how the TL is driven.

I did mine at 10 years and 103K and the belt showed zero signs of wear. I have friend that knows a guy that dated a girl with a dog that was owned by a guy that did 155K before swapping, same thing...good belt.

That said...
order your stuff on amazon(amazoneeee in french?) and do it yourself when you feel comfortable. I read Majofo's diy and watched the youtube's and was like nopeeeeee fuck no...nope...then 4 years later, i said let's do it and did it myself.

Godspeed, captain!

Canadian TL's have us servicing our maintenance reminder 4's technically at 105k KM's. I will be getting mine done a bit earlier. So apart from the addition of what BillMFD3 said, is there anything else we're missing? Ill take what information I can gather from this thread in terms of a parts list and just give it to my mechanic. Here's to hoping that I can save a few here and there lol

@nvasion: I go to an independent Honda shop here in Edmonton, Im not 100% what was going into the bill but i was quoted to nearly $1300 including labour. I didn't fully look into it as I was just inquiring about the service at the time.

Yes, you may need to replace your serpentine belt tensioner as well and don't forget to have them inspect your hoses. What about your brake fluid? Power steering fluid?

Meh to camshaft seals... If they're not leaking, I wouldn't mess with them. 164K on the original seals and no issues...

Its 160,000km for us. 105000 miles for the yanks.

If it were 105,000 for us, the yanks would always refer to it as their 60,000 miles service.
