'07 NBP Type-S manual ???

I just test drove a 2007 TL Type-S. NBP, manual, light grey leather, 72,000 miles, no dents, interior is like new, non smoker, smells almost new, owned by a 50 year old original owner, tradded it in on a new VW Passat Diesel. It drove like new, 0 rattles, pretty new Bridgestone Potenza RE 960 AS tires. Minor scratches on 2 wheels. Brake pads look new.

$20,995 10 Minutes from my house at a VW dealer.

Good deal ???

Not too bad! I would aim for a price under $20k OTD. The 105k miles needs to be done in 30k miles.

you have a pretty good starting point. That's not a bad price. My '07 6mt has 49k miles, driven by a retired guy, came with 2nd set of wheels/snow tires (mint condition), 2011 nav updates, and new front brakes. Very clean. I paid $21,750 and that was private party.

If you are saying this is at a stealership than I would assume you could get it closer to $19k - that's what I would shoot for.

Even at 20k I would still probably buy it just because it is 6mt, but I wouldn't tell them that lol.

*edit* what VW dealership? I'll be in northern Illinois next week.

if you can get it under $20.5k OTD then yes it would be a good deal.

WDP is for sure my Favorite. I am also on the fence on auto or manual.

Originally I wanted a WDP 07-08 Type-S with ebony/silver leather and an automatic. Its hard to find one thats not overpriced

I have 2 NBP Type-S both with manuals very close to me.

I have had 2 new Auto TL's-TL-S, and a certified WDP TL Nav Manual.

Its such a hard choice. My last 3 cars were manuals, I wanted a break and wanted an auto. WOW. I am just unsure ???

But WDP, Ebony/Silver leather, Auto is my first choice. I dont want to spend more than $22k.

yes sir, sale tax are bitch to pay off. My TL-S original price was $21.5k but after tax/fees in the end it came out to almost $24k. OTD mean everything is included that the price you pay to drive the car off the lot with license plate on the vehicle, just to remind you that dealer will have more fees for you to pay like conveyance fee, misc fee. Tax here in CT is 6.35% NHP with Taupe interior? I like NHP but only with Ebony/silver interior. However if it is MT then I say go for it.

I also prefer Ebony/Grey leather, But I was surprized how nice the light color leather looked with NBP. The nice part is the carpet and many other parts are very dark, its not like the WDP TL manual I had with yellow/parchment leather, fake brown wood, and very light carpet (gets dirty easily). Its like a very light grey leather that would be much cooler in summer with a black car.

My brother said what you said. $21,500 out the door. Online it is priced at $20,995, at the dealer the window sticker says $22,995.

Thanks Again

ahhh, it must be the one they're selling at Gurnee volkswagon.

I'm gonna have to swing through and check it out next week if they still have it on the lot. I'll be driving right past the dealership coming down from Milwaukee.

accident reported on the carfax. i wouldnt buy it personally no matter how well it was repaired.
just to give you recent market value 2 weeks ago I just paid 19.5K out the door from a dealership for an '08 TL-S 6MT 72K miles, 65 year old original owner(talked to him on the phone), not a dent or scratch, drove like you described, in perfect condition with a super clean carfax. They are asking to much for that car even if it had a clean carfax i wouldnt pay over 19K for it and thats pushing it since it is a '07 and now knowing its been in an accident i wouldnt touch it, but thats just me..do more research before investing that kind of money and dont settle if you want WDP and buy a different color youll regret it every day.

I know the Taupe interior make the car looks more luxurious than sport, especially when the exterior is black. I said to myself before that I will only buy Ebony/silver interior but yet I bought a MRP with Taupe interior. It wasn't looking too bad.

JD TL-S-How much different was the 6MT over your auto? Big difference, more power, fun? And wouldn't you be losing money if you are doing a trade?

JD TL-S, the Car would not handle the same no matter how well they repair it after an accident. To me, it's a little too pricey for an 07 with an accident on the record; however the decision is yours to make.

Exactly. I live 10 minutes away. The only thing I saw was a scratches on the lefy side of the console, the silver metal was scratched a tad from maybe a belt buckle. Its very nice, drove excellent. The salesman said it wont last. On the window sticker the price is $22,995, but on the Internet its $20,995. I wont have the Cash$$$ for 4 months. I would If I could.

The one I test drove was a bit quicker then my 07 Type-S auto.

But my Modded 06 WDP TL Nav felt quicker. I had ATLP exhaust without resonators, and am RV6 short J-Pipe.

I am not tradding in, I will be paying Cash$$$ for the first time in 50 years.

Thankyou I didnt catch that, Thanks again. I check the Carfax 99% of the time. I agree-No accidents for me. OH Well, I dont have the cash yet. I am just doing deep research on prices, and what color ext and int and also manual vs. auto. On the fench with all.

Originally NBP WAS 100% NO !!! As I have owned 3 black cars

My new choices:

#1 WDP
#2 NBP
#3 KBP
#4 MRP
#5 CBP
