04-06 front lip aspec vs 07-08 type s front lip aspec
which one do you prefer? I was able to get a deal from the santa monica acura dealership and am planning on getting an 04-06 nbp aspec lip but after seeing some pics of a type s aspec lip on nbp, i started getting second opinions .
which do you prefer? i think the type s lip is a bit over the top and i understand that I'll need to make modifications to the base bumper in order to fit it into my 05
some pics wouldnt hurt to sway my decision, if you know what i mean

I really like my a-spec lip. I wasnt sure at first but I think it looks hot. You are gonna get alot of opinions on this, kinda like opening a can of worms. Here is a pic of many more to come.

I have a NBP Type-S and have been contemplating getting this but the wife & others I've talk to or shown pics to dont like it so much, I wish I could see a clean NBP with it in person. Are there A-spec side skirts & rear bumpers specifically for the Type-S as well?

07 TL-S
^ hehe i dont see how it would be less common than type-s lip but whatever
honestly to me it depends on color, i have a kbp tl-s which is more of an aggressive color so i went with type-s. but black or white, i think a base lip would like real nice if u are going for a cleaner look

I feel as thought the Type S Aspec kit bulks out the nose too much. It gives the Type S bug-eye looking foglights....not a fan!

The a-spec lip for 07-08 base tl is the same as the stock 07-08 type-s bumper/lip. the reason I decided to use the type-s a-spec lip was because none of the others would fit with the factory fogs without cutting the lip out to fit flush with the fog housings/grills.

If I had to choose an order of preference. heres what it would be:
1. 07-08 Base Aspec
2. 04-06 Aspec
3. 07-08 Type S Aspec
That said that list means absolutely nothing. Its all personal preference, and sometimes a certain lip really works on certain cars. Like I could never picture my friend Elliots car (ifirahse) with anything other than a type S Aspec. Nothing else would look as good on his car. And for my car I actually like the 04-06 lip the best because I painted the trim part black and I just like how it looks on my car. So yeah, the list means nothing, its all about how well a certain lip fits with the overall look of the car.
