Unimaginative interior colors.
Maybe the AWD version will have more options but can the RLX color schemes be any less interesting than black, tan, or gray? I don't like all black interiors and the others will show far too much dirt.
Why not offer the umber color offered in the TL? That interior is stunning.
Cadillac is offering some cool color choices and you can get better options on a Kia Optima.
I'm waiting for the TLX, if Acura can't be more imaginative with that car's palette, I will buy elsewhere.

I agree. I'm disappointed in the lack of umber.

^^^ I agree. While I respect other people's choice for interior color, I find they tend to age poorly. Its a black interior for me, but what I wish they had, was a choice of wood interior or titanium (or brushed aluminum) or something...I am not a fan of wood interiors.

I actually like wood interiors when they use rich colored woods with high gloss, for some reason the wood in the RLX comes off looking fake, I suspect is is not, but the application in the RLX just does not looks like rich wood.

I liked the umber option in the ZDX. I'm guessing that color just isn't popular among Acura drivers. Oh we'll, I would probably go with the dark grey or black option.

I thought umber was brighter than that, like a burgundy?

Sumatra vs Umber
That pick was Sumatra - a color I believe hardly anyone knows existed because it was on the ZDX & I think only the ZDX. Here is umber:

^^^ No offense but both colors look awful. The Umber is the only one I could "partially" get on board with but I suspect I would get tired of it very quickly....but that is just me.
Maybe its because I am "umber" fatigued given that my underwear are all umber in color ... (oups...that was not their original color) *lmao*

Umber looked pretty decent in person on the ZDX. It would be nice to have the option in the RLX.

The RLX comes with a matching headliner for the new gray and beige colors. This I like.
I had a dark green exterior TL, with a black dashboard, gray headliner and beige leather and carpet- it looked silly.
BMW M-Sport packages offers Black headliners which always match the dashboard and if you really like the black interior one's entire interior may be black. This allows for for more matching colors.

Agree with the dark headliner. I'd also prefer dark carpeting to add some more contrast.
Open pore woods are in vogue right now. Looks richer and more expensive than the glossy stuff.
C'mon Acura, we know you can do better.
