You are thinking it through NB the right way; not as an impulsive buy.

I know this isn't a TLX thread, but the new one looks pretty nice. Too small for me (6' 2"), but a nice car.

I like the wood trim better, looks like it has the electronic shifter standard? There's an intelligent drive system?

I think these are all changes we may see on the 2015 RLX...?

I'm 6'2" and I fit well in the 4G TL. In fact, I'd swear the 4G TL has more head room than the 5G Legend/RLX.

Are you sure you won't fit in a TLX? Do you not fit in the current Accord?

The TLX is shorter than the TL, isn't it? I think I read 3-4 inches?

I could definitely fit in the car, it's just that I would need the seat most of the way back, which would leave little legroom for the rear passengers...not that I'm shuttling people around a lot

I admit, I've been spoiled with the RLs size.

^^ If you haven't done so, try sitting in a 13-14 Accord. The back seat room is amazing for a car its size. I assume the TLX, on the same platform, will be similar. (And I too always drive with the seat all the way back).

Chris, the TLX will be close to the 06-08 RL dimensions. Aside from a more sporting approach, the glaring difference I found was the RLs higher seating position and material / build quality. Oh yes,,,,,SHAWD.

Although the TLX is intended to remove the overlap the TL / RL experienced it looks like a nice companion to the RLX with enough differentiation. On paper, the TLX SHAWD Advance looks like a close replacement to my RL by size and drivetrain with the benefits of new tech. The butt test will affirm or disqualify that.

IMHO the TLX is what should have followed the 3rd Gen TL. The styling looks evolutionary from that most successful design.

This dealer is trying to get out front, but they should do some proof reading of their press releases

No price. I translated the page with BING. They are having a press release on April 20th with the Bejing Auto Show. Maybe a North America on Monday?

As translators tend to be literal, and the Japanese love of superlatives (SHAWD for example) I love this quote:

"RLX is Acura (Acura) of flagship sedan, is in this times Beijing auto show Shang publishing of RLX SH-AWD version carries has Acura (Acura) global original of Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (more power Super controlled four drive system), more items innovations technology, achieved has Acura (Acura) unique of "people car one heart by Yu" of manipulation sexual, while has excellence of environmental performance. RLX SH-AWD version control through innovative technologies and environmental protection highly integrated, perfect interpretation of Acura (Acura) branding direction."

Too late....

Google has already reported your search criteria to the NSA. The LED light in your RLX will be again changing from green to red.

You have been warned.

I had to try the Google translator five times before I got a result, and then only by cutting and pasting. I guess both the NSA and whatever the Chinese equivalent is are looking for me, too. *dons tinfoil hat*

Google and China really don't like each other....

I still don't think it's going to hit 70K unless they've changed their minds about the content and part of the delay is some kind of secret addition of content in Japan.

However, I will also say that it would have been difficult to conceal that from us.

:-)

Being the nosey and connected bastards that we are, of course, and notwithstanding having Mat Hargett on speed dial.

I'm betting MSRP of 67.5K for the Advance

Don't you mean having Mat as one of your Shortcuts
