Hands Free Linkup Is Too Slow
My 2014 RLX went quickly into hands free mode with my iPhone 6S, where as my 2016 RLX is agonizingly slow to this action. The called party is listening to music from my radio and hanging up before I can force the system into hands free. What do you suggest to correct this issue? I should not have to manually force the hands free each time from my iPhone. Thoughts?

Delete and re-pair your iPhone. If not helpful, force restart your iPhone, then delete/re-pair. Usually works for me.

To add to what Bob said, make sure you delete it from both the car and the iPhone.

how are you initiating the call?
If I start call from Phone and then use "Transfer" button, it always takes at least 5 seconds to transfer

I always look down at the iPhone to be sure it says it is using HandsFreeLink. If it's screwed up, I'll hang up and call again.
The issue is complicated by the fact that a great many of us do not initialize the system fully correctly when we start the car. You can get really weird responses to voice commands and phone calls until you restart the car.
