Any tips on cleaning Seacoast headliner?

I would appreciate any tips on how to clean the Seacoast headliner in my RLX. There are a few marks around the rear window where the dealer tinted the windows prior to my taking delivery. The dealer is about 2 hours away, so I would like to try and do this on my own. Normally I do all of my interior and exterior cleaning, but I wanted to check in with this community first because it is so light and I don't want to make it worse.

Thanks

David

headliner is just fabric.
how do we wash fabric? with soap and water! bonus points if you spring for laundry detergent. remember, a little goes a long way!
anyway; that's how I clean my interiors and fabrics. soap and water

Go easy on the detergent as it will be hard to rinse and you don't want to leave a stain.

^^^ This. I had the Seacoast on my 2014 P-AWS and I would simply use a clean microfiber cloth with cold water (ring it out so it's just damp) and then dab (don't rub vigorously or the fabric can go furry). Patience with dabbing and it will come out no problem. Worse case scenario if it's grease or something that isn't coming out with just water, a damp Magic Eraser works wonders too. Good luck!

^yeah, i used it mainly for the carpet. headliner would require less!

even a damp microfiber could transfer some of the dirt and oils out of the headliner.

I have used dry cleaning agents on my headliner when I have been unable to remove stains with microfiber cloth, and then I can vacuum it clean. the Magic Eraser is really a great idea.

i have used it with good results. The key is very little pressure, damp not wet and patience. But it’s my last resort.
