2018 RLX Sport Hybrid

The choice between a 2017 and 2018 RLX Sport Hybrid is largely a personal choice of which you like the look of better since mechanically they are nearly identical. The 2017 will obviously be cheaper to buy as deals are out there to be had while the 2018's will be near MSRP for a while. Looking long term, the depreciation of the 2018 should be slightly lower due to the newer body style and being one model year newer.
Stating the obvious here, but I'd recommend heading down to the dealership and having a good look at both, driving both if possible and then see which one "suits your fancy" when all the price points are considered.
Regarding a release date, the TQI (total quality inspection) TSB's are already up on the TSB thread (the step by step instructions for the dealers to get the cars ready for sale once they arrive) , so I would imagine they will be on sale any time now.
Good luck with your choice.

RLX hybrid 2017 vs 2018
Acura is changing the seats in the 2018 RLX. I must admit, I’ve never been completely satisfied with the seat comfort on long trips in my 2012 RL. Is it safe to assume that the seats in the 2018 will be more comfortable?
