I have a set of 20" aftermarket wheels from my 2007 RDX (which was traded in) with TPMS sensors. I put these wheels onto my RDX to see how they would look as the Platinum Elite (Advance) rims are too bland for me. I put these wheels on yesterday and drove around for a bit without any issue. However, the TPMS indicator appeared today. Would anyone know if I must use 2019 RDX TPMS sensors, or I need to calibrate/reset the TPMS system on the car?

The 2019 RDX uses the new TPMS sensors, so you would need to use those. I believe they transmit at a different frequency.....

I believe these are the ones you need. I know you're in Canada, so you should confirm with the parts department there.

Yep. 2019 RDX uses sensors that transmit at 433 MHz, vs 315 MHz for 2nd-gen RDX. That's only one of the issues. AFAIK there is no way to change the old TPMS sensors to be compatible with the new system ( nor can you make the new system recognize the old sensors ).

AFAIK, part number 42753-T6N-A01 is correct, although apparently there is also a new part number 42753-T6N-A02, and both are claimed to be compatible.

They have answered your questions but my comment is I like those wheels on your RDX. I hope they are comfortable on the new RDX. Who made those rims?

These rims are RTX Envy, 20" in size. I believe RTX is a Canadian company. I got them for my 07 RDX originally but traded that car in. I paid about CAD$1000 for the whole set of rims. As far as I know, these are TSW Nurburgring replica.

If you don't care about wheel brand and weight and just care about the look, these are quite nice for the price. Way better looking than the Advance/Platinum Elite rims lol.

Those rims would look really nice with the blacked out A-Spec trim also!

Haha not sure if you were refering to the trims on my car but they aren't blacked out yet. That's the next step I have vinyl wrap sitting in my garage now! Just gotta find time to do it.
