I have Covercraft sun visors on my other vehicles but got the OEM one from Acura which I believe is also made by Covercraft. The genuine Acura one has the logo on it.
I went with these from Amazon. Easy to put up and remove. Stores in very small space. The main reason I went with this kind is that I can put them up without using the sun visors to hold them up. They wedge between the A-pillar and rear view mirror just right.
Covercraft, hands down. Have one for my G2 RDX and have purchased them for my last six cars. Won't bother with any others. Perfect fit, folds up and stores easily, durable and they all received daily use living in PHX. Got the one from Acura for my RDX which it is the same cover but it has Acura printed on and was the same price.

I hadn't seen that but it really does have the fit of a CoverCraft.
So, it feels like it too? It looks on the pic exactly like CC. It very well could be made by them...
These EzyShades look like a good alternative to the traditional Covercraft type of sunshades for those who have dash cams mounted to the front windshield. Thanks for sharing.
I have one of these for every vehicle I own and have used them for years. Good price and great product that fits well.
I have used this brand before.
They do a great job of blocking out the light/heat and they fit very well, but they do not look the best. Sort of like crumbled aluminum foil covering your windows. Not very elegant.
The OEM option is very solid, though CoverCraft is also an excellent option (once they put out a 2019 RDX version).
Thanks for input. I've have the twist and fold type which is like a rubix cube for first timers folders. However, the "Covercraft" looks the best hands down.
Just got mine it is a little hard to put up and take down but fits pretty well, a little gap around the left and right side of the windshield but should make a big difference in the hot sun, looks great tho

1) many years ago I bought similar shade and after a few years, the silvery finish started to flake off and the folds ripped
2) I mounted a DashCam left of mirror complex so the perfectly fitting ACURA shade might not work

its gonna be pretty tight with how you mounted that cam, it had a little overlap around the outside of the printed black stuff , probably up about 1 inch from where that camera is.
yea getting the official Acura shade with that cam installed there
Can you post an inside photo detailing where the shade meets the dot matrix?
The DashCam can be adjusted a little. But if it’s too much overlap, then I can’t get at memory card.

I just got the OEM last week. Agree - takes a little work to put in - but mine keeps sliding down after a few minutes... every... time... What am I doing wrong?

I purchased a roll of this a while ago to put on my Ford Cmax, I might just use some newspaper to make a template and see how it works out. Could be a good solution for any kind of camera. Will see how well it stays up. I purchased this but in 48" height This is how my old roof looked and the sunshade was pretty thin. Does not open, so I cut a piece to just slide in.
I was about to delete my post because it was embarrassingly obvious what I was doing wrong (figured it out after posting) - but decided to keep it up for the anonymous users in the future who shall bear no shame for I have paid for them all :-)
I looked at the CoverCraft website and they do have a 2019 Acura RDX sun screen, but it's unclear whether or not it's "custom fit" or if it's just a generic one that will accommodate the rough dimensions of many SUVs in that size range. I also don't know if it has the Acura branded logo that was shown in some of the photos in this thread. I went to the "OEM Acura Parts" website that one poster had helpfully linked to, but it's a little sketchy because it isn't actually Acura affiliated and doesn't show a picture of the product. It is, however, about half the cost of the UVS100 Premier Series CoverCraft screen ($44 vs $83). (Note that you can also get the original Covercraft screen for $68.) Since slapping a logo onto anything automatically increases the price, I can only assume that the "OEM Acura Parts" sun screen is an older model. It probably functions perfectly fine, but I'm going to just shell out the extra money and get the official CoverCraft one.
Son of a ...I just looked on the Acura site and you can indeed get an official Acura branded sun screen for $60 from a dealer. So I guess I just wasted about $50 getting it from CoverCraft.
My CoverCraft sun shield just arrived and I put it up (for no reason, since my car is facing south and so it therefore is doing nothing, lol). It good coverage, except for the part by the rear view mirror. The area the mirror is mounted to, which is black and has a camera on it (I don't know what that camera is for, but I'm sure someone does) and there is maybe about a 1 inch gap between the edge of the sun shield and the black part. I can post pictures if people want to see, but it doesn't really show up on them. Let me know. The actual sun screen looks great. It's a sparkly silver, although it just looks flat through the windshield.
