The Start of Media Drives

Seeing as Alex on Autos posted a picture on Facebook about driving the new RDX, I can expect more media outlets to sample the new RDX. Excited to see the reviews on the vehicle. I'd tired of waiting and speculating about the vehicles pricing and features.

Yes just saw it thanks for sharing it here for other folks.

Someone asked him about the infotainment and replied: “It’s MUCH better than the Lexus system”. Very excited to see AoA’s review.

This week will be big!

He said he likes the interior except the driving mode dial. It does look like it's a little too big right in the center of the head unit. But I think that is to replicate the NSX dial.
Can't wait for his review. Always very informative. Said it will probably come in a week or so.

That's definitely the A-Spec (with the Red seats). Would also like to know what he thinks of the Advance given the different things you can get with it that you can't get on the A-Spec.

Exactly, I read his comments. No car is perfect and no brand can please the entire population...

The importance is that the engine, infotainment, transmission and features are decent. I am sure some reviewers will not like the gear selector. But It's not a deal breaker. We will wait for his and many other reviews

Another 'real life' photo. I like these vs the flawless, enhanced press photos published in the media as these are more indicative of what you see in person.

If not already posted, Alex on Autos clarified on his Fbook post that the review will be out on May 31.

Arrow

Man, the size of that logo.... reducing it by a 3rd would have gone a long way

I might sound biased but this RDX just looks awesome. Honestly, this could be a game changer for Acura. If they follow with ILX next, then MDX and TLX. The brand will be perceived differently in the next 2-3 years.

ILX? Make it an Acura'ized version of the Civic Hatch Sport minus all the fake vents and $h!t.

On my first Honda (84 Accord), the H was less than two inches high. It is amazing how large the logos are now.

Nothing we haven't seen before, but more photos taken out in the wild. I didn't realize just how different the taillights were between the A-Spec and other trims:

I like the ASpec tails better. They look “thinner”. And the larger logo is to hide the sensors etc. I think it’s gotten too large. But most other brands are the same way these days because of all the safety features. I think the larger logo looks better on the RDX than the TLX because if it’s bigger demensions.

Javier Mota just posted a quick video from media day. Check out the engine. It seems to be pushed all the way back in the engine bay.

Wow, even the seatbelt ding (at 2:40) when he first turns on the car sounds like a luxury car. Pretty cool.

In the deanoatkinson post, I did not see the folding mirror control. Looks like Acura will make some members move to Canada.

The car overall looks really nice and promising.... but I still can't get over all that glass in the roof. I wonder what it would take to tint that monster. A lot of heat load for those of us in the South.

So is the red model in this photo a Tech Pkg model? Based on the specs posted, I believe the only difference between the wheels on the Base and Tech may be the finish? The Tech having a grey finish, rather than silver.
